echoBase, Inc. is looking for a proactive, highly motivated programmer to contribute to our enterprise software solution in the medical industry, Resonate. We are breaking new ground in the exciting healthcare industry, creating a paradigm changing solution. features in the Resonate iPhone client app, fixing bugs, and optimization of memory use and overall performance. Working with a small, focused team, you will have the opportunity to make significant contributions to the product, quickly gaining broad experience in a number of related technology areas.

The app is UIKit based, so any experience with those classes is very beneficial. We use a combination of Interface Builder and code to develop classes, so IB experience is a plus, however we tend to go "outside of the box" often based on unique requirements of the app, therefore the ability of the candidate to work with UIKit objects in code is critical.

echoBase also provides the rare opportunity to work with world-renowned Java and iPhone software engineer Ethan Nicholas. Best known for the incredible success of iShoot on the iPhone last year, Ethan has also been a repeat speaker/award winner at JavaOne, and held lead development roles at both Sun Microsystems and Yahoo!. Ethan serves as CTO at echoBase and works closely with our various development teams.

Qualifications

• Required:
  • Solid Objective-C and Xcode experience
  • Familiarity with UIKit
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Preferred:
  • SQL experience
  • SOAP web services development experience
  • security experience (i.e. SSL/TLS, database encryption, application pen testing, iPhone security, etc.)
